Shipping & returns
We aim to deliver your unique DNA posters safely and efficiently. Our shipping policy details estimated delivery times, free shipping, and procedures for handling any shipping issues. We provide flexible solutions for damaged or delayed items.
Recently, a customer requested a return within the reasonable time window. The product showed a manufacturing defect, which is covered under EU consumer protection law. The customer contacted us at info@mysoundprint.com and we promptly reached out to our print-on-demand partner to process the return and ensure that the customer received a full refund.
Section 11 – Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
A product that has been manufactured according to the consumer’s specifications or that has otherwise been clearly personalized is exempt from the right of withdrawal.
(Chapter 2, Section 11 of the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act — “DAL”). For this reason, all photo products manufactured by MySoundPrint, including products from MySoundPrint are excluded from the right of return.
Right to make a complaint:
You have the right to file a complaint for up to 3 years from the date you received the package. However, the complaint must be made within a reasonable time, and no later than 2 months after you discovered the defect.

Privacy & data protection
Your privacy is paramount. Our GDPR and privacy policy ensures that your personal information is protected in accordance with EU regulations. We are committed to protecting third-party personal information from different countries. This includes clear guidelines on how we collect, use, and store your data. We ensure our policies are consistent and treat all customers equally, ensuring reliability and trust.
Data Protection and Privacy Policy – Legal Framework
The Data Protection Directive (Directive 95/46/EC) was implemented in Swedish law primarily through the Personal Data Act (1998:204). The provisions of the Personal Data Act were designed to protect individuals from violations of their personal integrity through the processing of personal data. The Act generally followed the structure of the Data Protection Directive and, like the Directive itself, contained provisions regarding, among other things, data controller responsibilities, fundamental principles for the processing of personal data, and information obligations towards the data subject.
As of 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679) – commonly known as the GDPR – replaced the Data Protection Directive and the Swedish Personal Data Act. The GDPR establishes uniform rules across the European Union for the protection of personal data and the privacy of natural persons.
Under the GDPR, organisations processing personal data must ensure that all processing is lawful, fair, and transparent, and that data are collected for specified and legitimate purposes only. Personal data must be accurate, limited to what is necessary, and stored no longer than required for the stated purposes.
The GDPR also grants individuals enhanced rights, including the right of access, right to rectification, right to erasure (the “right to be forgotten”), right to data portability, and right to object to certain types of processing.
